This year, we were once again able to give the students of class 5A of the Technical Secondary School (TFO) in Silandro an insight into the structure, function and control of the refrigeration system in the OVEG Prad fruit cooperative. Kilian Salutt informed the students about the company structure and the basics of refrigeration technology. Different refrigerants and the structure of a refrigeration system were examined in detail. Cristian Bastianutto then explained the importance of automation in a refrigeration system.
Afterwards, the students were allowed to inspect the refrigeration plant of the OVEG fruit cooperative and got a practical insight.
